Kanye West’s Yeezy brand, and GAP. Started to release their collab clothing, back in early 2021. This is after both sides signed a 10-year deal, in the summer of 2020.
2021 saw the sales of the YZY GAP hoodies, as well as the blue zipperless hoodie. Now, the all black hoodie is now available, after a commercial for it was aired, during the National Championship game, between Alabama and Georgia.
In this commercial, Kanye also premiered the music video for “Heaven and Hell.” This record initially appeared on Ye’s “Donda” album, in 2021. Shortly after the commercial’s premiere, the black hoodie went on sale on the YZY GAP website, for $80 each.
Kanye also took to his Instagram stories, to express his excitement about this release. He posted a video of the commercial, and said “Our first YZY GAP commercial. Mama we made it.”
Kanye also recently posted a contract between YZY GAP and Balenciaga. This revealed that a collaboration is coming, as Ys began working with Balenciaga more, in 2021.
