How dismissed FMC employees, Mr. Francis Chukwura tried to kill neighbour’s youngster ritual.
The Imo State Police Command paraded a suspect recognized as Mr. Francis Chukwura, a dismissed worker of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owerri, for allegedly luring his neighbor’s son into his room in an try and kill him for ritual functions.
The arrest was confirmed by Mike Abattam (CSP), the command’s spokesman, in a press assertion issued to journalists on Thursday in Owerri.
In describing how Mr. Francis was apprehended, Abattam said that the sufferer, Henry Ekwos, 14, was lured into his room by the suspect, who then tried to kill him by digging a shallow grave in his room earlier than being rescued.
“The incident occurred in Ubommiri in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, on the 06/01/2022 the place one Francis Chukwura lured his neighbours son, Henry Ekwos, into his room to assist set up WhatsApp software for him in his telephone. The unsuspecting boy innocently entered with him into his room the place the suspect has already dug a grave-size pit.
“The boy, on seeing the grave-size pit within the room grew to become suspicious and turned to expire, when the suspect picked up a m#chete and gave him a number of m#chete cuts on his head and physique.
