Impressed by artists like En Vogue, Future’s Youngster, and Gwen Stefani, South Korea’s Crimson Velvet are a five-member, all-female vocal group who make dance-oriented up to date R&B and rap-infused pop. Each units topped the Korean charts and rose into the Prime Ten on the U.S. World chart. Sidelined from promotional touring in 2020, Crimson Velvet saved busy with contributions to Trolls World Tour (“Russian Roulette”) and an anniversary mission for pop predecessor BoA (a canopy of “Milky Approach”). In 2021, they returned with their sixth EP, Queendom.
