A Nigerian man recognized as Chief Ojo Ajaguna, regained his freedom from a kidnappers den after his abductors fell asleep.
The neighborhood chief in Igasi Akoko within the Akoko North-West Native Authorities Space of Ondo State was kidnapped by gunmen on Friday February 18.
Chief Ojo Ajaguna fled the abductors’ den after the hoodlums slept off. A resident of the neighborhood informed Punch that there was celebration within the city after information filtered in that he escaped.
The resident stated;
“The sufferer regained his freedom when the assailants slept off within the forest. All the Igasi Akoko neighborhood was agog when he got here again”
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed that Ajaguna has regained freedom after being kidnapped.
