5 folks have reportedly been killed in renewed cult-related assaults in Ogwashi Uku group within the Aniocha South Council space of Delta State.

It was gathered that battle for supremacy is between members of the Aye confraternity and Rubagger who’ve been looking for one another.

In keeping with Nigerian Tribune, a younger man recognized as Eze was killed alongside St Patrick street at about 7.30 pm on Wednesday, April 13.

The killers trailed him to a close-by spot and instantly he stepped out of the place, they opened hearth on him at shut vary.

Because the bullets couldn’t penetrate, the assailants used sticks to assault him.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Vivid Edafe, who confirmed the incident stated there was no open battle between the 2 cult teams, including the attackers monitored their victims on the streets.

“What they do is that they monitor their targets on the road. There hasn’t been any open assault, this makes it even rather more troublesome to get these unhealthy components,” he acknowledged.

He stated the police have been on high of the state of affairs including that each one blackspots within the city wouldn’t be spared in the reason for investigation.
